Pastel Skittle Mani

Hi :D Wasn't too sure what I wanted to paint on my nails and after seeing a few people bringing out the pastel colours, I decided on a colourful mani for the day. I have not had such colourful nails in a long time, and seeing them on my nails looking so bright kinda feels a bit different haha (I think I have gotten too used to wearing nudes!) On to the nails!

Colours Used:
China Glaze Peachy Keen (orange)
China Glaze Lemon Fizz (yellow)
Essie Mint Candy Apple (blue)
Essie French Affair (pink)
China Glaze Re-fresh Mint (green)

I used Sally Hansen Pennies for Heaven which is a lovely copper colour for the shapes which proved very difficult! First I tried with stripping tape but the brush is quite big so there was a lot of mess. Then I used the nail brush from a striper to free hand them. I kind of wish I hadn't put anything over the top but i'm sure i'll be wearing these colours together again!

O.P.I My Vampire is Buff

Hi! I was so excited to try this polish out, it's been on my wishlist for such a long time! I love the colour so much that I didn't want to put any glitter or nail art over it. This is O.P.I My Vampire is Buff :D

This is such a nice eggshell colour. I would never wear white alone because it's just not my thing but now I can wear something similar and less stand out-ish. This would look great as an alternative white in nail art etc. The problem I had was the formula, it wasn't the best. Quite watery and patchy. I ended up using 3 coats to try and even it out.. still not perfect but my nails have so many ridges at the moment so its understandable.

Topped with Seche Vite, but after only a few hours of wear, I have some chipping on the ends :S I can skip past the formula and everything because this polish is stunning!

O.P.I Did You 'ear About Van Gogh?

Hey! I have now painted my nails again and am a bit late with this post :S Buuuut! I can tell you how good this polish wore now can't I? And it was fantastic! Lasted 3 whole days at work with minimal chipping but it  did start peeling though and took off some bigger pieces. This is O.P.I Did You 'ear About Van Gogh? with an accent of Essie Jazzy Jubilant.

When I first saw this, I couldn't decide if I liked it or not.. It looked like a pretty/ugly colour but it is so much nicer in person! It is a very different nude colour, very grey based. But I didn't mind it on my skin tone at all. And the formula was also great, as I have come to expect from O.P.I :)

This was 2 coats of polish topped with Seche Vite. I think I have kind of moved on from textured polish and gone onto nudes because now I can't seem to buy enough of them. And I have found that O.P.I make some beautiful nude polishes!

I thought Essie Topless and Barefoot was perfect, but I'm not so sure now. Tell me what you think about Essie Brooch the Subject :)

Essie A Crewed Interest

Hey! I have had these photos for a few days but just did not have time to upload them (sorry)! The weather was so hot here lately that I have just not bothered to do my nails as much haha. But I did do these the other day, Essie A Crewed Interest & an accent of Sally Hansen Celeb City & Maybelline Gold's Night Out.

O.P.I Tiffany Case

Today is Friday, so what better way to start the weekend then try out one of your new polishes? I have done a bit of nail shopping lately (when I say a bit I actually mean a lot) and am just starting to receive my packages. I opened one yesterday and saw the most gorgeous liquid sand I have seen yet.. O.P.I Tiffany Case!

Gradient with China Glaze Something Sweet & Sugar High

Another gradient, yes I really like this look :) I didn't want to take off my last mani but I am really keen to try some other colour combinations. This is China Glaze Something Sweet & Sugar High with Fairy Dust on top.

China Glaze Bahamian Escape Gradient

Well hey :D I wanted to try a gradient again because the last time I did.. I completely failed. I think gradients look so nice and clean though so I thought I would give it another go. I used China Glaze Bahamian Escape and O.P.I You're Such a Budapest then added a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust and some Seche Vite.
